SPCC Serves Up Another Sold-Out Fourth of July

SPCC was proud to once again host our annual food booth at the South Pasadena Fourth of July celebration at Garfield Park. Following the morning parade, families streamed into the park to enjoy games, music, and yummy treats

This year we brought a taste of dim sum to the celebration, serving up steamed buns, siu mai, fried rice and egg tarts to eager parade-goers. The response was overwhelming — our offerings sold out quickly, a testament to the community’s enthusiasm for sharing in this small piece of Chinese culture on America’s birthday.

It was a beautiful day all around, with families relaxing in the park well into the afternoon. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the booth, and to our dedicated volunteers who made it all possible. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
